Insert/Remove SIM Card on your HTC Touch Pro 2

The SIM card is a small rectangular plastic card that stores Contacts and features use important information about your wireless service.

    • Remove the stylus. (You need to temporarily remove the stylus to be able to remove the back cover.)
    • Hold the device with both hands and the front panel facing down.
    • Push the back cover up with your thumb until it disengages from the device and then slide it up to remove.

  2. Remove the battery if it is installed. To remove, lift out the battery from the groove at the upper right side of the battery compartment.

  3. Slide the SIM card underneath the metal holder, with the chip facing downwards and the cutoff corner on the lower right side.

    • Align the battery’s exposed copper contacts with the battery connectors inside the battery compartment.
    • Insert the contact’s side of the battery first and then gently push the battery into place.

  5. Replace the back cover, and insert the stylus back into the stylus compartment.
