Bluetooth Headset Connection on your Samsung Reclaim™

Follow the steps below if the connection between your device and Bluetooth headset is lost.

  1. Attempt to pair a headset with the phone.

    Press the OK key to select the MAIN MENU tile on the Carousel.

  2. Navigate to Tools and press the OK key, then scroll Down to Bluetooth and press the OK key.

  3. Press the OK key to select Pair with Hands Free.

    Note: If the Bluetooth is not already turned on, scroll Up to Yes and press the OK key to enable Bluetooth. Then, press the OK key again to select Pair with Hands Free.

  4. If the desired headset is not listed, press ADD NEW (Left Soft key).

  5. Press the OK key to select 222 Plantronics.

  6. If prompted, enter in a numeric PIN. For this example, press 0 to prompt one to fill in, and then press the OK key.

  7. If the pairing fails, or the connection between the device or headset is lost, check the headset to ensure it is powered on, discoverable and within range of the phone. Once the headset meets the criteria, highlight the headset and press the OK key again.

  8. Once connected, a blue Bluetooth icon will appear with the headset image in the Trusted Devices list. Also, a headset image will appear with the Bluetooth icon in the Status Bar at the top of the screen.

    To disconnect the headset, first press DISCONNECT (Left Soft key).

  9. Press the OK key to select Yes.

  10. Press the Back key, then press the End key to exit.
