Press and hold the Talk key.

Say "Send Text" followed by the name or number of the recipient. This example uses "Send Text John Smith."

Enter the desired message. For this example, press O to prompt a message to fill in.

Once the message is ready, press SEND (Left Soft key).

Press the End key to exit.

To send a multimedia message, on the Home Screen, press and hold the Talk key. Say "Send Picture" followed by the name or number of the recipient. This example uses "Send Picture Jane Smith."

Locate the picture to send. For this example, scroll Down to Memory Card and press SELECT (Left Soft key).

Check the boxes by the pictures to send. For this example, press the OK key to select the highlighted image. After selecting the desired image(s), press NEXT (Left Soft key).

If needed, scroll Down and enter additional information. For this example, scroll Down to the Subj field, press ADD (Right Soft key) and enter in a subject. In this case, press F to prompt text to fill in, then press NEXT (Left Soft key).

Scroll Down to Text and press ADD to enter in a message. For this example, press C to prompt a message to fill in, then press NEXT (Left Soft key).

Once the information is complete, press SEND (Left Soft key).

Press CONTINUE (Left Soft key) to exit.
